The Education Program at The Waldo invites you to bring your voice and creativity to the stage.
With a rotation of workshops and master classes, we aim to help participants explore
the many different ways to engage with the stage.

Workshops

The Acting Essentials Workshop series offers adults the opportunity to engage with professional theatre artists as they develop new skills, connect with people in their community, and learn more about theatre arts. It is designed for ages 18 - 100.

Community Storytelling teaches the art form of storytelling while also bringing community voices into the theatre. Participants develop their stories, share their stories, and ultimately perform their stories for the public. This program is offered once a year in the spring.
Master Classes
Master Classes provide an opportunity for The Waldo public to learn from the talent that come to The Waldo stage. Keep an eye out for opportunities to learn from these amazing artists!

Getting Our Act Together: A Collection of One Act Plays
Performance: November 9th at 7PM at The Waldo Theatre.
Tickets are free with a suggested donation of $10.
Join us on November 9th for the culmination of our Acting Essentials: One Acts workshop series. 14 actors, 18 hours of rehearsal, 4 plays, and 1 performance. Come and celebrate the hard work of this ensemble of community members as they take to the stage!
